Ḥiṣn al-Muslim
Before and upon waking up at night
To be recited when going to bed or if one wakes up.

بِاسْمِكَ اللَّهُمَّ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
Bismika-llāhumma amūtu wa aḥyā.
In Your name, O Allāh, I die and I live.

اللَّهُمَّ قِنِي عَذَابَكَ يَوْمَ تَبْعَثُ عِبَادَكَ
Allāhumma qinī ʿadhābaka yawma tabʿathu ʿibādak.
O Allāh, protect me from Your punishment on the day You resurrect Your servants.

اللَّهُمَّ أَسْلَمْتُ نَفْسِي إِلَيْكَ، وَفَوَّضْتُ أَمْرِي إِلَيْكَ، وَوَجَّهْتُ وَجْهِي إِلَيْكَ، وَأَلْجَأْتُ ظَهْرِي إِلَيْكَ، رَغْبَةً وَرَهْبَةً إِلَيْكَ، لَا مَلْجَأَ وَلَا مَنْجَا مِنْكَ إِلَّا إِلَيْكَ، آمَنْتُ بِكِتَابِكَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلْتَ، وَبِنَبِيِّكَ الَّذِي أَرْسَلْتَ
Allāhumma aslamtu nafsī ilayk, wa fawwaḍtu amrī ilayk, wa wajjahtu wajhī ilayk, wa alja'tu ẓahrī ilayk, raghbatan wa rahbatan ilayk, lā malja'a wa lā manjā minka illā ilayk, āmantu bi-kitābika-lladhī anzalt, wa bi-nabiyyika-lladhī arsalt.
O Allāh, I submit my soul to You, I entrust my affair to You, I turn my face towards You and rely upon You, out of hope and fear of You. There is no refuge nor salvation from You except in You. I believe in Your Book which You have revealed and in Your Prophet whom You have sent.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ، لَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللَّهِ، سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، وَلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ، وَاللَّهُ أَكْبَرُ
Lā ilāha illa-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr, lā ḥawla wa lā quwwata illā bi-llāh, subḥāna-llāh, wa-l-ḥamdu li-llāh, wa lā ilāha illa-llāh, wa-llāhu akbar.
(To be recited if one wakes up at night, after which one says: “My Lord, forgive me,” and the Du'ā' made will be answered.)
