إِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ صِيَاحَ الدِّيَكَةِ فَاسْأَلُوا اللَّهَ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ، وَإِذَا سَمِعْتُمْ نَهِيقَ الْحَمِيرِ فَتَعَوَّذُوا بِاللَّهِ مِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ
Idhā samiʿtum ṣiyāḥa-d-diyakati fa-s'alū-llāha min faḍlih, wa idhā samiʿtum nahīqa-l-ḥamīri fa-taʿawwadhū bi-llāhi mina-sh-shayṭān.
When you hear the crowing of roosters, ask Allāh for His grace; and when you hear the braying of donkeys, seek refuge in Allāh from Shaytān (for they have seen them).
