Ḥiṣn al-Muslim
Upon waking up
Supplications to say upon waking up in the morning.

الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَحْيَانَا بَعْدَ مَا أَمَاتَنَا وَإِلَيْهِ النُّشُورُ
Al-ḥamdu li-llāhi alladhī aḥyānā baʿda mā amātanā wa ilayhi-n-nushūr.
Praise be to Allāh who gave us life after having taken it from us, and to Him is the resurrection.

لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Lā ilāha illa-llāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahu-l-mulku wa lahu-l-ḥamdu wa huwa ʿalā kulli shay'in qadīr.
There is no deity except Allāh, the One, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and praise, and He is over all things competent.

اللَّهُمَّ بِكَ أَصْبَحْنَا وَبِكَ أَمْسَيْنَا، وَبِكَ نَحْيَا وَبِكَ نَمُوتُ وَإِلَيْكَ النُّشُورُ
Allāhumma bika aṣbaḥnā wa bika amsaynā, wa bika naḥyā wa bika namūtu wa ilayka-n-nushūr.
O Allāh, by You we enter the morning and by You we enter the evening; by You we live and by You we die, and to You is the resurrection.
