Exchanges between traveler and resident

أَسْتَوْدِعُكُمُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا تَضِيعُ وَدَائِعُهُ

Astawdiʿukumu-llāha-lladhī lā taḍīʿu wadā'iʿuh.

I entrust you to Allāh, the One whose trusts are never lost. (to those being left behind)

زَوَّدَكَ اللَّهُ التَّقْوَى، وَغَفَرَ ذَنْبَكَ، وَيَسَّرَ لَكَ الْخَيْرَ حَيْثُ مَا كُنْتَ

Zawwadaka-llāhu-t-taqwā, wa ghafara dhanbak, wa yassara laka-l-khayra ḥaythu mā kunt.

May Allāh provide you with piety, forgive your sins, and facilitate good for you wherever you are. (to the departing traveler)
